Emily Glynn

CSCS, PN-1

Emily earned her first bachelor’s degree in nutrition communication, and wrote for several health and wellness publications in the Phoenix area before returning to Arizona State University for her BSN. After two years as a medical-surgical nurse (during which she became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach), Emily decided to take a leap of faith to pursue a career in fitness.

Emily is no stranger to the pitfalls of diet culture, having struggled with an eating disorder throughout high school and college. It wasn’t until she wandered into a local gym in Phoenix that she finally found the strength to start a new chapter.

Emily is a strong proponent of asking for help when you need it, and believes that self-compassion and strategic behavior change are key to making sustainable progress.

When she’s not forcing her fiancé to play Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit, Emily is either in the pool, at the gym, or spending time with her family.
